dream dress!

With our Pre-Loved Program, we hope to lessen our environmental impact, widen the available options we showcase in our boutiques, and provide brides on a tighter timeline or budget with more options to find their dream dress!

All dresses will be indicated as "Pre-Loved" on our dedicated consignment rack. We will do our best to curate and select dresses that we know have an excellent chance of finding their bride!
Due to this, a number of factors will be considered when entering a gown into our Pre-Loved Program. This means that we cannot guarantee that every dress will be eligible for this program, even if it was purchased New at White Willow within the last four years.
We also cannot guarantee that we will be successful in the sale over the 6-month period. If a dress sells, we will then turn to our waitlist to fill the spot!

INTAKE

Step One

Should your dress meet our intake requirements, we will get back to you to either;
a) Schedule a time for you to come drop your dress off and sign our contract.
b) Add you to our waitlist if we are at capacity for our Pre-Loved collection.

Meet & Contract

Step Two

We will keep your dress for up to 6 months and do our best to find its next bride!
If we are unsuccessful, we will schedule a time to return your dress to you at that time.

Leave it with us

Step Three

Upon successful sale of your dress, you will receive 50% of the sale price and White Willow will keep the other 50%. This amount will be e-transfered to your bank.

What is the payment split?

Pre-Loved dresses will be marked down to a minimum of 35% of retail price. Condition, chance of sale, customizations, alterations, and sizing all will effect the price it is marked at. Both the seller and White Willow will agree to the price the dress is listed for at the time of contract.

What will my dress be marked down to?

Currently we will only be accepting White Willow dresses that were ordered in New, are within four years of their collection date, and are not yet discontinued. Custom dresses are welcome! We dedicate one rack in each boutique to our Pre-Loved Collection.

Are all White Willow gowns accepted into the program?

Frequently asked questions

What are the chances my dress will sell?

That is a very difficult question to answer! We can however say that we are giving it the best chance based off of the formalities we have put in place!

What if I find someone to sell my dress to before the 6-months is up?

You may arrange for collection of your dress at any time. Shipping fees are subject to the seller.

Will White Willow return my dress dry-cleaned or mended?

White Willow is not responsible for any cleaning or mending that may be required upon the return of the dress to the seller. This is a risk that the seller must be willing to take on in order to enter their gown into our Pre-Loved Collection.

CONTACT

If I'm put on the waitlist, does it guarantee me a spot once one opens up?

No, we cannot guarantee that we will take on your dress for consignment. Should you be on our waitlist, and are eager to sell your dress, we would suggest to also reach out to other consignment stores.

Can I keep my dress at White Willow for longer than 6 months?

At the time that your contract with us comes to an end we will provide our feedback for why we feel the dress hasn’t sold. If we strongly feel that it will if given a bit longer, we will open up this discussion at that time.
